T. Wood Productions is an American company that specializes in developing television and film. Founded by actor, producer and writer, Trell Woodberry, the company was birthed off the heels of filming a feature film. Having a background in Project Management and a degree in Computer Science from North Carolina A&T University, Trell’s analytical eye caused him to explore and examine the specific details behind the scenes. After pointing out key elements that were unnoticed to the Director/Executive Producer, he knew this was second nature for him and decided to pursue it further.
Woodberry continued to work on indie and short films, as well as other smaller productions. His tenacity and love for television and film eventually led him to producing his first syndicated television, For the Love of Jason, which can be seen on AMC Network platforms, ALLBLK and WeTV. This series was one of the first productions filmed after the pandemic; even through the world’s uncertainty, the production proved to be a great success. For the Love of Jason was ranked #2 amongst scripted series and original content in 2020 and is ranked #4 overall, to date. L.A. Times said, “The show is gorgeous, with swooping shots of Los Angeles and wonderful makeup. By the middle of the first episode, you’ll be yelling for someone to bring you some popcorn.” After a well-received Season 1, For the Love of Jason was renewed and had an outstanding Season 2 as numbers significantly increased in viewership for this fan-favorite series.
